Vietnam Water Supply Sewerage and Environment Construction Investment Corporation VIWASEEN is established by the Decision No. 242/2005QĐ-TTg signed by Prime Minister on October 4, 2005 and Decision No. 2188/QĐ-BXD signed by Minister of Construction on November 25, 2005. VIWASEEN is a state-owned Enterprise under Ministry of Construction operating in the form of Mother-Member Company which based on reorganizing independent state-owned companies of Ministry of Construction including Water Supply and Sewerage Construction Company (WASEENCO), Water Supply and Sewerage Construction and Investment Company (WASECO), Water Supply and Sewerage Consultancy Company No.2 (WASE).

WASEENCO was founded in 1975 with its headquarter located in Hanoi . It is the first and the most professional company operating in the field of water supply and sewerage in . The development of company is proved with hundreds of water supply and sewerage projects for cities, industrial zones and urban areas throughout the country, many of which are national key projects. Having a strong financial reserve, experienced and qualified employees trained both in and abroad, WASEENCO has capability to carry out water supply & sewerage works or investment projects in the forms of BOT, BOO.. etc. as well as performs in perfect manner all import and export contracts of professinal  equipment and materials with high quality and best prices.

WASECO, located in Ho Chi Minh City , has more than 30 years of experience in specialized operation. Water Supply and Sewerage Consultant Joint-Stock Company-WASE (previously known as Water Supply and Sewerage Consultant Company-No.2), located in Ho Chi Minh City , was established in 1997.
